    About the Workshop

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

The aim of the workshop is to bring together experts and young researchers from the fields of quantum sensing and opto-/electromechanics in order to explore how quantum protocols can be adapted to mechanical sensors in the quantum regime for various applications.

The conference will be organized in Hotel Nuuksio https://hotellinuuksio.fi/

The workshop is organized as part of European Union’s Quantera Program project MQSens: “Quantum Sensing with Nonclassical Mechanical Oscillators”, which is a consortium comprised of research groups from ETH Zürich, Aalto University, ICFO, the University of South-Eastern Norway, and the University of Malta.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

The hotel is about a half-hour drive from the Helsinki Airport. We will organize a few shuttles on the arrival and departure dates between the airport and hotel. Otherwise we ask all participants to book their own travel, and we will reimburse invited speakers afterwards. All other expenses (hotel, meals, etc.) for all attendees are covered by the workshop.
